A scrap conveyor is a system that efficiently transports scrap and waste within industrial plants. They are ideal for the automatic distribution of steel or aluminum waste into containers or collection points. Their robust and maintenance-friendly design ensures high reliability while reducing labour costs and optimizing material flow.
Our scrap conveyor, a hinged belt conveyor in a particularly robust design, offers the ideal solution for transporting scrap materials. With standardized conveyor cross-sections and a flexible usable width, it can be precisely adapted to individual requirements. Robust hinged plates, driven by special conveyor chains, enable a safe and even material flow. The flexible design - whether horizontal or inclined - and versatile installation options make it a durable and maintenance-friendly conveyor system. The scrap conveyor transports materials using robust hinged plates that are driven by two sturdy conveyor chains. A powerful geared motor drives the system and ensures smooth movement, even under high loads. The materials are fed onto the hinged plates via feed hoppers, move along the conveyor path - horizontally or upwards - and leave the conveyor via chutes. The design enables large and heavy scrap parts to be transported safely.
