Folding belt filter
The folding belt filter from KÖBO ECO>PROCESS GmbH is a fully automatic coolant filter in which the contaminated coolant is forced through the filter medium under positive pressure. Due to its high specific flow rate of up to approximately 1,500 l/min per m² of filter area, the system requires up to 80% less space than a conventional flat-bed filter.
Typical applications include the filtration of various types of sludge generated during rough machining, particularly steel and aluminium sludge as well as abrasive grinding sludge. The filter area is approximately 1.5 m², and a filtration rating down to 50 µm can be achieved.
