The KÖBO ECO>PROCESS GmbH folding belt filter is a fully automatic cooling lubricant filter in which the contaminated cooling lubricant is pressed through the filter medium with overpressure. Due to the high specific throughput rate of up to approx. 1,500 l/min per m² of filter area, the system requires up to 80 % less space than a conventional flat belt filter.
Typical is the filtration of various sludges from rough machining, especially steel or aluminum and abrazzo-type grinding sludges. The filter area is approx. 1.5 m² and a filter fineness of up to 50 µm can be achieved.
