Our solution
We supplied a hinged belt conveyor with a steel cell belt for transporting trimming scrap from steel strip production. The conveyor removes the steel remnants generated during the edge trimming of steel strip.
The conveyor is approximately twelve metres long, has a usable width of 684 millimetres and is designed for a conveying capacity of approximately 27 tonnes per hour. The steel cell belt features a design that covers the gaps between adjacent belt sections.

The covering design can reduce the entry of scrap pieces into the gaps between belt sections, supporting the transport of trimming scrap.
Mechanised scrap removal
The hinged belt conveyor transports steel remnants over approximately twelve metres, supporting the removal of trimming scrap from the production area.
