The design is based on movable steel plates that are connected to conveyor chains. Functionality

Apron conveyors transport materials via robust hinged plates. The hinged plates consist of individual metal plates that are flexibly assembled using chain rods and connected via two external chain strands. A powerful drive, which transmits the power via the chain wheels, ensures smooth movement. If required, the conveyor speed can be infinitely adjusted using a frequency inverter. This ensures reliable material handling.

The tear plate is used to transport sheet metal scrap or punching waste. Their rough surface effectively prevents small slugs from sticking to the hinge plates due to oil residue.
As an alternative to the tear plate, dimpled or humped smooth sheet metal can also be used.

Thanks to its trough-shaped design, the trough plate is statically more stable than a conventional link belt. The option of adjusting the gap between the sheet metal and the tubular sleeve enables an optimum configuration. Due to the strict requirements for the gap clearance, the troughed plate is also the preferred choice for transporting punching waste.
