Scraper conveyors are the ideal solution for the efficient and reliable conveying of metal chips, scrap, forged, punched and small parts. They can also handle the transportation of special bulk materials, including chemically aggressive materials, and offer optimum protection against dust and contamination thanks to their enclosed design. They are particularly indispensable in sectors such as recycling, metal processing and the chemical industry. Thanks to their robust design and high adaptability, they are also suitable for demanding conveying routes and tight spaces.

How our scraper conveyor works

Our scraper conveyors are equipped with two parallel chain strands to which flights (scraper plates) are attached at regular intervals. These flights push the conveyed material in the lower section of the conveyor channel (lower run) up to the discharge point. During transport, liquid can be separated from the conveyed material, which is particularly advantageous with moist or oily materials. To minimize wear, the conveyor channels are lined with robust wear plates made of high-quality steel. Depending on the operating conditions, bush conveyor chains or plug-in chains are used to ensure long-lasting and reliable operation.

Our scraper conveyors have standardized housing cross-sections with variable usable widths, which enable optimum adaptation to individual requirements. Depending on requirements, they can be installed in a horizontal or ascending design, with various incline angles possible:
