Contaminated coolant is pumped into the upper dirt chamber of the folding belt filter. Under controlled positive pressure, the fluid passes evenly through the filter belt or filter fleece. Solid particles are retained on the filter medium and form a filter cake, which further improves particle separation.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

The filtered fluid collects in the filtrate chamber below and is then returned to the production process.
